Wash in warm or cool water to prevent shrinking and fading. It can be machine-dried or air-dried using moderate to high temperatures. Iron on high heat while the fabric is slightly damp. Use steam if needed. Pique Cotton, also known as Marcella, is a material characterized by raised parallel cords or fine ribbing in the fabric. This gives the fabric a subtle texture and pattern. Textures and patterns vary across pique, it can be in cord structure, others with waffle or honeymoon structures, and even bird’s eye pique. It is super comfortable, hides any perspiration, wicks away moisture, and withstands heavy washing.
